The Extron USBC-HD 8K connects USB-C source devices that support DisplayPort Alt Mode to HDMI equipment. It actively converts DisplayPort signals to an HDMI format for use in AV systems. The USBC-HD 8K is available in 15 cm male USB-C to female HDMI, and 6‘ (1.8 m) male USB-C to male HDMI cable lengths. Supported HDMI 2.1 specifications include data rates up to 40.1 Gbps, HDR, Deep Colour up to 12‑bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats. It accommodates resolutions up to 8K/60 video, including 4K/120 and ultra-wide 5K. EDID, HDCP, and audio information are passed between source and display. This active adapter cable is unidirectional and draws power from the connected USB-C device. The USBC-HD 8K is ideal for integrating USB-C source devices into new or existing HDMI AV systems.
