Proprietary HDMI Twisted Pair Extenders from Extron
Transmitting HDMI signals over twisted pair (Cat-5, Cate-5E, Cat-6 etc.) is the cost effective way to distribute sources over medium to long distances. A transmitter at source and receiver at destination and twister pair cable in between. Note that the distances quoted depend on cable quality. Use CAT6a or CAT7 for longest distances and shielded cable for best results. For Video over IP systems see Video Over IP.
