Extron USBC ProMax/15

The Extron USBC ProMax Series of active, hybrid optical-copper USB‑C® cables simultaneously transmit video, audio, data, and power up to 9.1 metres. This USB 20Gbps cable features dynamic DP Alt Mode lane switching for optimal 2-lane or 4-lane video and USB operation. It supports DisplayPort Alt Mode 8K video with USB 2 data rates, and 4K video with USB data rates up to 10 Gbps. Additionally, 100 watt USB Power Delivery enables powering of laptops and mobile devices. Descriptive text and a blue-coloured ring on the host connector allow for easy identification of cable directionality, reducing the likelihood of improper connection.

• 4K video support with USB 10Gbps data rates:
  • 4K video over two high-speed lanes for a total of 16.2 Gbps, (8.1 Gbps per lane)
  • USB 10Gbps over two high-speed lanes
  • USB High-Speed over the USB 2 lane
• USB Power Delivery up to 100 watts — Supports various power profiles up to 20 volts at 5 amps
• Bidirectional USB power flow — When connected to USB devices that support USB PD, power flows both ways, enabling host or peripheral to provide power to the far-end device.
• Multi-Stream Transport - The cable supports MST, allows multiple monitors to be operated simultaneously from a single USB‑C source output.
• Integrated eMarker communicates cable capabilities to ensure safe and efficient data transfer and power delivery
• Supports EDID and HDCP transmission
• Colour-coded and labeled ends — A blue ring around the neck of the host connector and molded text provide visual identification for cable orientation.
• Gold-plated contacts — Contacts do not tarnish, maintaining a long-lasting, reliable electrical connection.
