The screen-door effect - sometimes known fixed-pattern noise (FPN) is a visual artefact that of LCD (or LCD derived) and DLP projection technology and is the fine lines between pixels. On most HDReady projectors viewed from recommended viewing distances this grid can rarely be seen but it can be fairly obvious on standard definition projectors. |
