Kramer TP-124 Description

An XGA/audio stereo/RS-232 line receiver that receives a coded CAT5 signal transmitted by a TP-123, decodes it and converts it to XGA, stereo analog, S/PDIF digital audio and RS-232 outputs. The TP-124, with a TP-123, allows an operation range of >300 ft. (> 100 meters) over standard UTP CAT5 cables.

  • System Range - Up to 100 meters (300’). Greater distances possible depending on resolution and cable.
  • Cable – UTP (unshielded twisted pair) such as CAT 5.
  • Power Connect™ System – Only one unit in a system, the transmitter or receiver, needs to be connected to a power source. All the system units must have Power Connect to use this feature.
  • RS-232 Connect™ System - The unit can send RS-232 commands on the twisted pair cable on top of the video signal. All the system units must have RS-232 Connect to use this feature.
  • Compact Size - Part of the Kramer TOOLS™ family of compact, high quality and cost effective solutions.
